Monaghan Chamber of Commerce was established in 2009 to support and create opportunities for Monaghan businesses, while nurturing a healthy balance between social and economic progress.

Monaghan Chamber works on a voluntary basis to:

• Promote Monaghan as a shopping and business town
• Create an effective and mutually beneficial network among local business people
• Provide affordable and practical training opportunities for business owners and their staff
• Represent the interests of local businesses and people at decision making level
• Influence decision makers at local and national level
• Expand and improve the range of services offered to its members

With these objectives in mind, the Chamber has established five committees  which focus on specific areas for development.  These are:
