Please note that the next meeting of Monaghan Chamber of Commerce will take place in the Westenra Hotel on Monday 6th September at 6.15pm, i.e. on the first Monday of the month, not the second.

Arrangements for this year's Taste of Monaghan Festival are well underway. The event will be launched by Neven Maguire in the Four Seasons Hotel on 6th October. Neven will also launch the new "Taste of Monaghan Cook Book" on that occasion. The committee is preparing a busy and varied programme. This will include cookery demonstrations, tastings, exhibits of local produce, a schools' art competion, a home produce competition ... and even a fashion show and wedding fare which will take place on Sunday 10th October.
Work continues on this busy and ambitious programme and the 2010 website - www.tasteofmonaghan.com - will be launched soon.
